    Runner · Coach · Co-founder of augo

I've been an athlete my whole life: tennis through my teens, then NCAA track and cross country at Emory University, where I fell in love with running. For me, running is where I find peace, where I recharge. There's no feeling better than a really great marathon. I started coaching in 2021 because I wanted to share what running has given me: structure, determination, mental clarity, and a sense of what's possible. I bring to the podcast a personal perspective to conversations about injuries and overtraining. After struggling with injuries from 2023-2025, I was diagnosed with RED-S (Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport). It completely changed how I approach training and coaching, and it's something I'm passionate about discussing openly because too many athletes are dealing with this without knowing it.

    Triathlete · Coach · Co-founder of augo

I discovered triathlon in my late 20s, convinced it wasn't for me. I believed you had to be a lifelong athlete to do endurance sports: that if you didn't grow up swimming and biking, you'd missed your window. Within three years, I went from barely swimming 25 meters to completing my first full Ironman. That race was the moment I realized I actually am an endurance athlete. Now I coach beginner triathletes, helping them get started and cross their first finish lines. What I love most is witnessing the progress firsthand, seeing tangible proof that consistency pays off. On the podcast, I explore the mindset side: how we push through doubt, trust the process, and redefine what we thought was possible.

    Our Story

    How It Started

Bruna and Fabi smiling outdoors by a lake

When Bruna & Fabi launched the show in early 2024, the married couple had a simple goal: talk about what they loved, meet fascinating people, and fill a gap they saw in the endurance world.

Most endurance content celebrates elites. But what about the full-time lawyer training for her first 100-miler? The parent balancing early morning runs with school drop-offs while chasing a Boston qualifier? These are the stories that fascinated Bruna and Fabi — athletes proving that incredible feats don't require sponsorships or endless free time, just determination, smart training, and consistency.

What started as conversations with inspiring everyday athletes has evolved into two series. The Guest Series continues to spotlight remarkable athletes and their stories, while the Expert Series brings in specialists from sports science, nutrition, and coaching to go deeper into the "how" — practical knowledge to help you actually improve.

At the heart of it all: lowering the barrier to entry. Fabi herself once believed you had to be a lifelong athlete to do endurance sports. The podcast exists to prove that wrong — to show that with the right approach, what looks impossible from the outside is absolutely within reach.
